ABOUT
David Werre is a versatile drummer and percussionist based in Southern California, known for his dynamic stage presence, professionalism, and ability to adapt to a wide range of musical styles.
A graduate of Musicians Institute and recipient of the Outstanding Student award, he has studied under renowned drum educators Fred Dinkins, Richie Gajate Garcia, and Frank Briggs.
With a strong foundation in multiple genres, David seamlessly blends into any musical setting, whether on drum set or percussion. He plays a variety of instruments, including cajón, congas, bongos, and washboard, adding unique textures to live performances and recordings.
David plays original music with Dr. Infinity, Fiddle Leaf, Christina & The Magnetix, and Tanning.
He has also filled in for Army of Freshmen and played at a wide range of events, from festivals and music venues to weddings, musicals, and restaurants.
Beyond performing and recording, David was a full-time instructor at Music Freqs, an award-winning music school, where he taught for five years.
He is currently teaching and accepting students at Beijer Ranch Studios in Simi Valley.
